The Mission Team from St. Matthew has completed their second year of a three-year partnership with the nonprofit LCMS organization, Alaska Mission for Christ (AMC). AMC's objective is "proclaim and practice the love of Jesus" throughout Alaska. A primary method of accomplishing this is by supporting LCMS mission teams who travel to Alaska to perform service events in local communities.
The team has worked with the Juneau chapter of Love INC ("in the name of Christ ") and the Juneau Pregnancy Resource Center (JPRC), developing relationships and serving these organizations that support the community of Juneau.
